Sustainability

This is part of a big purview of what we do at Druids Candles. We want to do our part to ensure that our actions are geared toward a sustainable future and that the steps taken today will be the norm of any other company in the future.

We made sure to begin with our candles as part of our sustainability initiative. Only one secret our formula possesses—that the ingredients are natural, soy wax and 100% cotton wicks. We produce all of our products in our workshop in Leamore, Co Offaly so we know exactly what goes into each and every candle.

While this had always been the way at Druids, recent years have seen us focusing even more on a sustainable future and making some positive changes to reflect our ethos.

Sustainability for Future Generations

We took a look at our processes and how we can reduce our waste and utilization of plastic. In this light, as of 2022, we had reduced the amount of plastic in the Torc by 40%. This we did by greatly reducing the plastic wrapping. We had the labels changed from plastic to paper.

Here in Torc, we have preferred other ways to be sustainable, like ensuring all the vehicles are electrical. For the boxes of the company, we use are recycled and re-usable. Just now, we design the sustainable collection that we'll be thrilled to show next year. We are constantly improving our sustainability and hope to reduce our use of plastics even more in the coming years.
