Safety

Maintain a safe and tranquil atmosphere by adhering to essential safety practices when burning candles. Follow these guidelines to fully enjoy your Druids candles experience.

Ensuring Safety First

Do not leave a candle burning.

Keep the candle out of the reach of children and pets.

Never burn a scented candle near anything flammable, and always burn in a draught-free area.

Never touch the outside of any glass container candle while the candle is burning. Allow the candle to completely cool before handling or moving.

It is best to extinguish 10mm below the edge using a snuffer.

Always burn in a proper holder and on a heat-resistant surface.

Never mix the fragrance oils or any other substances with the candle.

Leave 10cm/4" between burning candles

Keep the candles all clean.

It is best to let the surface of the candle melt to the rim when burning for the first time, which would assist in burning and prevent your candle from tunneling.

Trim the wick to 10mm before first burning or re-lighting.

Candle Care

Trim your wick before lighting the candle. We recommend trimming to 10 millimeters; it will ensure you get a clean, even burn.

You want to burn your candle long enough for the wax pool to reach the edges—this normally takes about four hours of burn time. This way, you prevent tunneling, a situation in which there is wax residue left on the sides after the flame goes out, but the inside part has been consumed.

Try to burn your candle for up to 4 hours. It is most important that for the first light the wick has been cut to a length of approximately 10mm. When lighting for the first time, ensure that the wax burns all the way to the edge. Wax has memory, and if you only allow a small pool of wax to melt, it will only burn to that diameter in the future.

Light the first one with a little bit of extra time taken; it should burn right down to the very bottom.

Why? Because we care that you enjoy every moment.
